About Dr. Gurbani Makkar

Dr. Gurbani Makkar was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She received her undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Dallas and then went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at The University of Texas Health at San Antonio.

Dr. Makkar’s passion for dentistry started when she witnessed how much impact oral health has on an individual’s quality of life. She knows what a privilege it is when a patient puts their trust in her care, and is committed to treat all patients with the utmost integrity.

In her free time, you can find Dr. Makkar exploring the DC restaurant scene, going on hikes with her pup, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family. Dr. Makkar looks forward to meeting you!
